Ingredients

  1. 1 cupPressed rice
  2. 3 mediumPotatoes boiled
  3. 3Green chillies
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  6. 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  7. 1/2 cupRoasted peanuts crushed
  8. Oil to shallow
  9. Dry mango powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the poha over a sieve and pour water over it to moisten it.

  2. 2

    Chop green chillies and add it to mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder,dry mango powder, red chilli powder, crushed peanuts and poha and mix together.

  3. 3

    Heat 3-4 tbsps oil in a non stick pan. Shape the poha mixture into round tikkis and place them on the pan and shallow fry on medium heat, turning sides, till both sides are golden.

    Tikki is ready serve with chutney...☺
