Ingredients

  • 4Clove's garlic, sliced
  • 1-2 Tbutter or olive oil
  • PinchCayenne pepper
  • 1 1/4 cupgreen beans
  • Pinchsalt
  • Pinchsugar
  • 1/4 cupwater
  • 2 Tchopped pecans

Steps

  1. 1

    Toast garlic in skillet with oil/butter and pinch of cayenne.

  2. 2

    Add green beans, season with salt and sugar, cook 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add water, cover and cook 6 minutes.

  4. 4

    Uncover and boil until water has evaporated.

  5. 5

    Season with salt and pepper, toss with pecans and serve.
