Sweet bauyrsaks
A fragrant, hot, delicious bauyrsak adds to the feast a specific meaning. There is the sun warmth, world and welfare in bauyrsak.
These are not regular bauyrsaks made of sour dough, these are sweet bauyrsaks made of condensed milk. They are served as a part of tea dastakhan (tea table) in many occasions. These sweet little bauyrsaks remind me of home, where my mother would fry them and present it while we are enjoying tea with milk.

Steps
- 1
In a large bowl mix together condensed milk and the eggs, then add dry ingredients. The flour should be added until the dough will not stick to your fingers. Let sit for 10 minutes and then shape with hands by thickness of half a centimeter, cut in diamonds. The last step is to fry them in a pan with considerable amount of oil. I decided to decorate the sweet bauyrsaks with chocolate ganash, but this step can be skipped. Please enjoy the taste of sweet bauyrsaks that reminds me of home!
