This is a twist on Beatty's chocolate cake. I used cream cheese icing with homemade toffee that was supposed to be caramel. It gives nice crunch.

Well I'm known for just having an idea and seeing how it comes out, and my two lil munchkins don't mind being the testers lol, so here is a awesome recipe using hot chocolate mix enjoy frosting made with cream cheese and hot chocolate powder. Enjoy everyone.

The cake itself is a basic sponge that I brushed with a lemon syrup to keep it soft and moist. I filled it with my favorite strawberry jam—it’s from the French brand “Bonne Maman”—and topped it with fresh berries and a little bit of licorice for fun!Sorry I don’t have a prettier photo of this cake—I made it for a coworker’s birthday and snapped the pic right before heading out in the morning, right after I finished decorating it so everything would be fresh and in place!Want the recipe?

The star of this simple chocolate cake roll is the pistachio filling and frosting. It goes perfect with the light moist cake as it is incredibly silky and creamy, but light and airy as well.

My mother has always told me about how when she was a child my grandmother would ask her what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday. Because she loved the taste of red velvet cake, but her favorite for was blue, she would always ask for blue velvet cake every year.I stumbled across the recipe this one is based on when I was actually looking up a completely different recipe and, knowing she has not had blue velvet cake in years, I decided I'd give her a nice surprise for her birthday this year!This recipe is not 100% original to me, but my modification of what I found online.
