Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1/2 cupbutter
  2. 1/2 cupflour
  3. 4 cupwarm milk
  4. 2 lbboneless skinless chicken breast. cut into bite size pieces
  5. 2 cupfrozen sweet corn
  6. 1cube chicken bouillon
  7. 1 tspeach. garlic powder, salt, pepper, and mccormick© chicken rub
  8. 1 1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  9. 1/3 cupgrated cotija cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    in a large dutch oven. melt butter. add flour. stir constantly until flour turns a light tan.

  2. 2

    add warm milk slowly while stirring.

  3. 3

    once milk is incorporated, add chicken, corn, bouillon and seasonings.

  4. 4

    bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is cooked through.

  5. 5

    add cheeses. stir until melted and completely mixed in.

  6. 6

    garnish with a couple croutons and serve

cooking is a passion of mine. I started when I was very young and I had to drag a milk crate around to see over the counter. taught by a career cook (my grandmother ). I have always tried to push the boundaries of conventional cooking. I prefer cooking wild game. when I can get my hands on it, but fish is more readily available for me. I raise and butcher most of the livestock that I use for my conventional recipes. I hope everyone can find a few recipes they like in my list.
