Can't decide if you want cream or tomato based pasta sauce? Try a Rosé! I couldn't find a good Rosé sauce recipe anywhere, so I modified one to suit me taste from Epicurious.com
Steps

Heat heavy saucepan with olive oil (approximately 1/4 cup) over medium heat.

Add garlic and onions, saute until tender (about 2-3 minutes).

Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, parsley, salt & pepper. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for at least 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in cheese and then cream and sugar. Simmer on low heat until cream is incorporated and sauce thickens to desired consistency.

Serve with shell pasta and garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
