I decorate custom cakes. I never was happy with frosting I had prior so I want a more light sweetness and not heavy sweetness.
My trick is half and half coffee creamer liquid. This replaces milk or water. It makes it creamy light and delicious on a cake or cookies.

Ingredients

  1. 1powdered sugar
  2. 2tablespoons of half and half
  3. 1stick of butter salted/or unsalted
  4. 2heaping tablespoons of shortening
