  • 2eggs
  • 1 pinchsalt & pepper
  • 4 slicesturdy white bread or preference
  • 2 tbspmustard
  • 2 tbspmayonnaise
  • 1/2 lbthick sliced baked ham
  • 1/2 ozweight shredded gruyere cheese
  • 1additional salt & pepper for taste
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 1garnish/toppings: powdered sugar, honey, Raspberry preserves

  1. 1

    Beat the eggs in a shallow dish ( Large enough to fit a sandwich) along with a few pinches of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Assemble sandwiches, with mustard, mayonnaise, ham, cheese, salt and pepper to personal preference. Slightly compress sandwich.

  3. 3

    Over medium heat butter in skillet.

  4. 4

    Dip and coat sandwich in beaten egg, and place in skillet. Cook sandwiches 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned to liking and cheese has melted.
