Boil 2 cups of shoyu and 1 cup of water to a simmer

Add the 1/2 cup of sugar and stir

Cut ginger into thin peices then smash then add to pot with the shoyu mixture

Add chicken one by one and the shoyu should start to cover the chicken.. And cook til chicken is no longer red inside...
