
Chocolate & Banana Torte
Steps

preheat oven to gas mark 6.

line the tin with grease-proof paper or grease it.

lay pastry in tin and bake in oven for 15 mins.

take out + leave to cool.

meanwhile melt the chocolate in a bowl over a boiling saucepan.

once completely melted remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

whilst cooling slice the banana into half centimetre pieces and layer ontop of the pastry.

once cooled slightly, stir in the cream.

pour over the bananas and leave to set in the fridge for 30mins.

perfect served with pouring cream, clotted cream, whipped cream or ice cream.
