1/2 cupfresh or frozen strawberries, defrosted and drained

Preheat oven to 350°F

Make cake according to instructions on package.

While cake is still warm, poke holes all around the top, using a wooden spoon handle works well.

Prepare gelatin according to package instructions and pour over cake while still warm.

Refrigerate for approximately 4 hours.

Frost with whipped topping and top with strawberries.
