Ingredients

30minutes
3 servings
  • 2 cupsbasmati rice
  • 1 cupfenugreek seeds (soaked overnight)
  • 4green chilies
  • 2large potatoes (cut into small pieces)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 3 tablespoonsclarified butter

Steps

30minutes
  1. 1

    Separate in bowl excess water of soaked fenugreek leaves.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee in pressure cooker fry soaked fenugreek seeds in it till it change the colour into pink, this will take 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add potatoes and green chilies in it.

  4. 4

    Add rice, salt and around 3 cups of water and pressure cook till 3- 4 whistles or till the rice and potatoes done.

  5. 5

    Serve in plate and enjoy healthy meal.
