Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 1/2 lbFlank Steak
  2. 1 packagesMcCormick Grill Mates Bourbon Brown Sugar Marinade
  3. 1/4 cupVegatable or Canola Oil
  4. 2 tbspWater
  5. 2 tbspApple Cider Vinegar
  6. 1/2 lbBacon, Cooked
  7. 1 cupShredded Mozzarela Cheese
  8. 8-10 Toothpicks
  9. 1 gallonZiplock Bag
  10. 1Meat mallet/tenderizer

Steps

  1. 1

    In the ziplock bag, combine marinade mix, oil, water, and vinegar.

  2. 2

    Take flank steak and beat with meat mallet to tenderize until its 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick

  3. 3

    Put the steak into the bag and seal making sure all the air is out and the entire steak is covered in the marinade

  4. 4

    Let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour or up to 24 hours

  5. 5

    Cook the Bacon until crisp. Use whichever method you prefer. I like to use my George Foreman:)

  6. 6

    Turn the broiler on in your oven to preheat

  7. 7

    Lay the steak out on a plastic cutting board

  8. 8

    Spread an even layer on cheese on

  9. 9

    Layer the bacon on top of the cheese

  10. 10

    Roll in to a log and secure with toothpicks 1 inch to 1 1/2 starting 1/2 inch from the end

  11. 11

    Slice between the tooth picks to form pinwheels

  12. 12

    Place cut side up on a greased foil-lined cookie sheet or broiler pan

  13. 13

    Broil to your desired done-ness (rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, well-done) turning every 5-8 minutes
