remove eggs from fridge 20 minutes before you begin

add eggs to a pot of boiling water and stir until water begins to boil again. once the water is boiling again cook for 10-20 minutes on low heat

cool eggs in a bowl of cold water before removing shells

For hiyoko, after the shell is removed poke two holes into the egg with a tooth pick, the insert sesame seeds for the eyes

below the eggs cut a slit and add a chuck off carrot to create a beak

repeat the fourth step for usagi

turn the egg over cut two slits into the top and insert thin cucumber slices to make the rabbit ears

For hatchlings cut the cucumber into inch-long sections

cut the boiled eggs in half

scoop a hole into one aide of each cucumber slice big enough for half a egg

insert the egg into the cucumber and then add eyes and beak as in previous step
