cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

combine soup and milk in a large mixing bowl; whisk until smooth.

stir in salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup cheese, and mushroom pieces.

cut chicken from bones and coarsely chop. discard skin and bones ; add chicken to soup cheese mixture

fold in cooked noodles.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake 20 minutes. sprinkle with reserved cheese and bake uncovered, 5 to 10 minutes or until -hot and cheese is melted.
