Stewed Omena served with brown ugali

Sort the omena and put to boil with little water. Add in oil and allow the water to boil with oil. When the water evaporates and what is left is oil, add more oil and onions. Add oil in the omena gets attached to the sufuria.

Fry until soft, then add in tomatoes and fry them until soft and all mashed up.

Add royco that has dissolved been dissolved in 30mls of water. Add salt and stir.

Boil for 3 minutes.

Then serve.
