1 cupIcing sugar
3 cupFlour
1Chopped cherries or chocolate chips
Sugar cookie frosting
4 cupConfectioners' sugar
1/2 cupShortening
5 tbspMilk
1 tspVanilla extract
1Food coloring

Beat together butter and icing sugar

Add flour

You may add chocolate chips or chopped cherries but this is not necessary

Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 300 for 20 minutes

Cool and decorate as desired

Cream together sugar and shortening until smooth

Add milk, vanilla and beat with electric mixer until stiff and smooth

Add food coloring or leave white
10

Top with festive sprinkles
