Ingredients

  • 2 cupsflour
  • 500 mlwater
  • Chopped cabbage
  • Cooking oil
  • to tasteSalt
  • Avocado
  • Medium size onion sliced

    Pour the water into a sufuria

  2. 2

    Add a bit of flour and leave to boil

  3. 3

    Begin cooking the ugali by adding a little flour at a time

  4. 4

    Cook until not too soft or too stiff...

  5. 5

    Cook for 10 minutes then remove from cooker

  6. 6

    For cabbage, pour two teaspoons of oil into a cooking pan

  7. 7

    Add the chopped onions and cooked until golden brown

  8. 8

    Add the cabbage and stir then add a little salt to taste 1st e then cover

  9. 9

    Cook for 5 minutes to avoid overcooking it

  10. 10

    Remove from pan

  11. 11

    Serve hot with avocado on the side
