The night before the party, make your ice ring by arranging lime slices and cranberries in an ice mold (use a Bundt cake pan if you don't have one). Pour one can of ginger ale over the top and freeze.

Infuse the white cranberry juice with ginger. Heat the juice just to boiling and add sliced ginger. Leave ginger in overnight.

Refrigerate all ingredients except the lemonade and limeade into the punch bowl. Add cranberry juice (strain the ginger) and stir until lemonafe and limeade dissolve. Add vodka and triple sec, then put in the ice ring. Pour ginger ale in just before serving. Makes about 1 gallon.
