Steps
- 1
Roast red bell pepper directly on flame, by holding it with a fork
- 2
Roast it nicely, by turning it at regular intervals, until it is charred
- 3
Take out the peel of bell pepper and chop it into pieces
- 4
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion and garlic, roast them for 2 minutes
- 5
Grind together roasted bell pepper, onion and garlic in a mixer grinder into a smooth paste
- 6
In a pan put the ready paste, add salt and sugar. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes on low heat
- 7
Then add cream in the end for creamy consistency, cook until the cream merges well with the mixture
- 8
If required then add little water to adjust the consistency
- 9
It should be like a sauce
- 10
The sauce is ready, take it out in a serving bowl and serve
- 11
As there is no Chilly added in this sauce, if you desire then can add some red Chilly or red Chilly paste
- 12
You can use this with multiple things like masala paranthas, pooris, kebabs, pakodis and can also use to make gravies like koftas, paneer etc.
