I tried my best to make this recipe healthy and low in calories so we can enjoy it.

Place the melted butter and saffron or yellow food coloring in a skillet over medium heat. Add the kunafa dough and stir to coat evenly with the butter. Lightly toast the kunafa until golden.

Spread half of the kunafa in the skillet. Add the cream, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese on top, spreading them evenly.

Add the remaining kunafa on top, smooth it with a spoon, and cook over very low heat until the bottom is golden. Flip carefully and toast the other side.

Pour the syrup or honey over the kunafa while it's still hot. Enjoy!
