wash and sterilize jars

wash pickles

pack jars with one sprig of dill, one clove garlic, and a few chopped onions.

pack pickles into jars

put 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 1/2 cup vinegar into each jar. then full to rim with water.

seal jars, and place in hot water bath until they turn color approximately 20 min for pints, or 25 minutes for quarts.

let cool and store in cool area. enjoy in about a month
