captain French toast
my kids love this for breakfast, we usually use captain crunch with berries. but this is a very versatile recipe and is great with a yogurt topping instead of syrup, (it is already fairly sweet on it's own). it is easy enough that kids (with adult supervision) can make it as well. i know my kids enjoy making it, as well as eating it with strawberry yogurt on top. :chef

mix all ingredients (except cereal and bread) until blended well
- 2
put crushed cereal in pie tin, shake gently to spread out
- 3
preheat griddle or large fry pan on med heat (350°F for griddle)
- 4
spray griddle or pan with nonstick spray
- 5
dip each slice of bread in egg mixture covering both sides, then coat both sides with crushed cereal by laying each side flat on mix

cook approximately 2-3 minutes on each side or until done to your likeness
