Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong daal
  2. 2.5 cupswater
  3. 1 cupjaggery
  4. 1/2 cupfresh grated coconut
  5. 2 tbspoil
  6. 3-4Green cardomom
  7. as needed Kesar syrup

Steps

  1. 1

    Put 2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker let it heat. Add dry fruits roast it in oil for few minutes.

  2. 2

    Add moong daal fry for 1 min.Add little water give one whistle.

  3. 3

    Then add jaggery mix until jaggery melts. Add crushed cardomom.

  4. 4

    Add fresh grated coconut then add dryfruits and mix for few mins.

  5. 5

    Moong daal payasam is ready

  6. 6

    Garnish it with kesar syrup and dryfruits.
