1 1/2 cupall purpose flour
1 1/2 cupcake flour
1 tbspbaking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 tspsalt
8 tbspsoftened butter
4 tbspsoftened shortening
1 1/4 cupbuttermilk

Pre-heat oven to 425 def F. Spray a 9" cake pan.

In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients and whisk together.

Add butter and shortening; mix with hands until mixture resembles corn meal.

Stir in buttermilk. Do not knead, dough will be sticky.

Using large scoop, scoop dough into cake pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
