2 cupmilk, scalded
3eggs, separated
4 tbspcornstarch
1 cupbrown sugar
4 tbspmelted butter
1/4 tspsalt
1/2 tspvanilla

Steps

Heat milk in top of double boiler until scalded.

beat egg yolks 1 minute, add cornstarch, brown sugar, melted butter and salt. Add this mixture to scalded milk.

cook in double boiler, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick. Add vanilla.

poor cooled pudding into baked pie shell.

Use eggwhites to make meringue for top of Pie.
