Chana Manoli
If you are a mangalorean you know what I am talking about. Recipe by my grandma #grandmarecipe
Steps
- 1
Take a pan add water and coccinia to it and let it boil for few minutes
- 2
In the mixer add coconut and grandmas masala (any dry masala you have at home like chilli powder, turmeric, etc...) and make a thick paste
- 3
Now add this paste to the pan and let it cook for some time so that coccinia can absorb the masala
- 4
Now take a small Kadhai for tadka
- 5
Heat some oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it
- 6
Check the pan and see if the water is absorbed and then add this tadka to it
- 7
Mix it properly your Chana Manoli is ready to be served.
