Steps

Boil the potatoes until soft. Halve the potatoes and discard the skins

Put potato 'flesh' in saucepan and mash. Add 25g of butter and salt. Slowly add the milk and mash in

Bring a pan of water to the boil and add cabbage. Simmer for 4-5minutes. Drain out excess water

Mix the cabbage in with the potato.

Softly fry the onions and wild garloc, mix in with the potatoes

Add remaining butter to a frying pan and then add the potato mix

Fry softly for 8-10 minutes until browned underneath.

Flip over the mix and fry for a further 8-10minutes. Again until the underneath is browned.

Serve whilst still hot
