Ingredients

  1. 4.4 lbsboneless, skinless chicken breasts (2 kg)
  2. 1 tablespoongarlic powder
  3. 1 tablespoonsalt
  4. 1/4 cupgrape vinegar (60 ml)
  5. Pinchturmeric
  6. 1/2sour lemon (juice)
  7. 1/2sweet lemon (juice)
  8. 1 tablespoonchicken seasoning
  9. 1 tablespoonshawarma spice blend
  10. 1 tablespoonpaprika
  11. 1 tablespoonwhite pepper
  12. Pinchcrushed dried red pepper
  13. 1/4 cupvegetable oil (60 ml)
  14. Whole cloves (to taste)
  15. Cardamom pods (to taste)
  16. Ground nutmeg, sifted (to taste)
  17. 1little mustard
  18. Bay leaves, as desired

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the chicken with water and vinegar.

    Slice the chicken into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Season with all the spices listed above and let marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

  4. 4

    Roast in the oven at high heat for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve with French fries, garlic sauce, and pickles.
