Falafel
This is my take on Ashiqat Al Ward's method.
Steps

Soak the fava beans and chickpeas overnight with the baking soda.

Drain the fava beans and chickpeas, then grind them in a meat grinder with the parsley, cilantro, onion, and garlic. Add the spices and salt, and mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water.

Add the baking powder, shape the mixture into balls or patties, and fry them in hot, deep oil. Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve with fresh vegetables and tahini sauce. Enjoy!
