in large pot saute the peppers, onion and garlic with butter

add all other ingredients and simmer for 20-30 min (my wife is vegetarian so i cook sausage separately and add to my bowl)

add water, wine or broth towards the end if you like it a little more soupy

add crushed red pepper for spice and enjoy, pretty easy!
