prepare pineapple as directions state, or but lg can sliced pineapple, or see if your market has fresh pineapple sliced and ready to go..

If you prepare yourself, slice pineapple in 1/2 in pieces

heat cast iron pan on stove, med heat. add 3 pads butter..

put brown sugar, pinch of cinnamon on one side of pineapple, put that side down in pan, repeat with cinnamon & sugar

cool about 4 mine, then turn over.. cool till soft, but not mushy..

repeat for rest of pineapple, will need to add butter, and watch the heat as not to burn sugar

after all that enjoy the hell out of them... also good with angle food cake, and vanilla I've cream
