Steps

Clean the beef roast with kitchen papers and season it with mustard, white pepper and beef grill spice.

Put a frying pan over high heat and fry the beef bone and beef roast until it's brown.

Dissolve the beef bouillon, maggi cube in the hot water, and add garlic.

Pour the concentrated water in a cooking pot and add the brown beef roast. Add onions, bay leafs, carrot, bouquet garni if using and salt to taste.

Filter the fat from the brown beef roast and add into the sauce.

Cook slowly for 2 hours.

Take out the beef roast from the sauce and slice.

Filter the sauce, put the sliced beef roast back into the pot and add the sauce.

If you want the sauce thicker, you can add 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour or 1 tablespoon concentrated tomatoes. Cook for few minutes and serve with mashed potatoes, rice or pasta.
