Position rack in lower third of the oven and preheat to 175 C.

Heat milk and butter until it almost bubbles and set aside.

In a bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt.

In a large bowl beat the eggs on medium -high for 2 minutes.

Gradually add the sugar 1 tablespoon at a time taking 4-5 minutes.

Add the vanilla, then pour the milk in a steady stream taking about 10 seconds.

Add the dry ingredients and continue to beat for 10 more seconds.

The batter will be extremely thin.

Bake 30-35 minutes.
