Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1yoghourt 125gr(use your favorite flavor ,i like to use vanilla )
  • 2 cupflour
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  • 4 largeeggs
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1 tbsplemon zest

  1. 1

    preheat the oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    grease a cake tin with butter then dust it with flour

  3. 3

    beat the sugar with the eggs until smooth

  4. 4

    add the yoghourt the oil mix well and the lemon zest

  5. 5

    slowly add the flour and the baking soda ,beat continually for 10minutes ,until the mixture appear soft and start to bubble

  6. 6

    pour the mixture into the tin and bake 35to40minutes

I used the juice of the lemon I zested to make a glaze. That really made the cake stand out. lemon juice, 1-1/2c gr. sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, heat & stir. Poke lots of holes in the cake and drizzle over.
