Steps

  1. 1

in a small pot add the 2 and a half cups of oil and place over medium heat. ... very important allow the oil about 5-10 minutes preheat time the oil needs to be HOT before u add the Oreos

  2. 2

In a medium sized bowl mix together the pancake mix and the water the mixture should not be too thin it should be a little thick once this is done add the Oreos about 3 at a time to the mixture making sure to evenly coat each side with the batter

  3. 3

take your coated Oreos and add them 3 at a time to the preheated oil (if your using a big pot u can add more but they should not be crowded together) let the Oreos cook for about a minute to two minutes on one side before flipping them over and doing the same with the other side. .. they should turn a nice golden brown before u remove them from the pot

  4. 4

let the Oreos drain on some paper towels and sprinkle the powdered sugar on top. .u can add the sugar right after u take them from the pot or u can wait till u finish frying all the Oreos to add
