my kids liked this and it was very cheap to make since everything was on sale. it tasted pretty decent. could use a bit more flavor but I am not sure what to add
Steps
- 1
start off cooking frozen green beans in water and butter. salt and pepper them. cook until desired texture.
- 2
if your using fresh or canned do as you normally would.
- 3
slice the cheese blocks if using them. shredded you don't need this step. if using using blocks cover and put in the fridge until ready to use
- 4
cook the Velveeta mac and cheese
- 5
cook the stuffing as directed
- 6
pre heat oven to 350
- 7
get a casserole dish. start by a bit of melted butter on the bottom or use oil. you can also use a spray if you wish like pam
- 8
put a layer of mac and cheese . then add a layer of green beans . then do a layer of sliced cheese
- 9
repeat until the dish is almost full. you need to add the stuffing last and on top of the layers.
- 10
bake for 30 minutes or until the top of the stuffing is just a bit crisp. check on it to not let it burn. you can also cover it first without the stuffing. bake until hot then add the stuffing and put it in the oven uncovered and just heat the top or let it brown just a bit
