Steps

Peel potatoes and cut into 1/4 inch rounds. Set in bowl and soak in water for 15 min.

Dice bacon and cook on stove. Drain approx. 1/2 cup of bacon grease and set aside.

Slice onion and celery in to smaller pieces and place into large soup pan. Add butter and bacon grease and breifly saute on high for 4-5 min

Add 2 cans of chicken broth to pot. Allow start boiling.

Add potatoes, bacon and full quart of half and half. Allow to boil and reduce heat.

Allow to cook for 20 min or until potatoes just start to break while stirring. Salt and pepper, serve and eat!
