Ingredients

  1. 1 box13x9 Brownie Mix + oil, eggs, & water on box
  2. 1 boxsmall instant vanilla pudding mix + milk required to make
  3. 1 boxsmall instant chocolate pudding mix + milk required to make
  4. 8 ozcontainer cool whip, thawed
  5. 1 packagesHeath milk choc toffee bits

    Preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    Prepare brownie mix and spread into buttered 13x9 baking dish or pan and bake as directed.

    While brownies are baking, make each pudding separately and refrigerate until ready for use

  4. 4

    When done, remove brownies from oven and place on wire rack to cool slightly (just to set and easy to cut)

  5. 5

    Assembly; I use a trifle dish for this size batch and a large oval glass baking dish if doubling recipe.

    Cut brownies into 1 1/2" squares

  7. 7

    Put a layer of brownies in the bottom of dish leaving 1/4" gaps between them

  8. 8

    Spoon one of the puddings over the brownies making sure it goes down into the gaps

  9. 9

    Spread half of the cool whip over the pudding layer and then sprinkle a little more than half the bag of toffee bits over the cool whip

  10. 10

    Repeat steps 7 - 9 with the remaining brownies, pudding, cool whip, & toffee bits. Don't worry if ypu don't use all the brownies, I'm sure someone will eat them for you.

    Chill in fridge at least an hour (you can eat it right away but it is better if you can chill it for a while). Refrigerate leftovers.

    Your friends and family will think you slaved for hours, but this desert tastes awesome and is worth the little bit of effort you put into it. Careful, though, you might be making it a lot!
