Cooking Instructions

Over boil water (double boiler) mix together egg whites and sugar

Whisk continuously for 10 mins until all sugar is dissolved.

Place bowl in stand mixer. Whisk on high until soft peaks are formed
- 4
Gradually add butter (1 tbsp at a time)
- 5
Add vanilla

I love buttercream frosting, so I went looking for a recipe. Again, I am picky, so I combined a few different recipes that I found. After a few tries, I decided that this one was my favorite.I made this to go on cupcakes for Mother's Day. My wife, my mommy, my sister, and Mother-in-Law loved it so much.This can be used to make different kinds of frosting. Next time, I will add some cocoa powder for chocolate frosting.Enjoy! J.A.B. -

This is the buttercream my family likes for spreading on cookies or bread.I used it as macaron filling and gave it as a gift and the receiver loved it!Adding honey to the egg white makes the cream turn out really thick (You can use granulated sugar or powdered sugar instead, but the cream will be thinner).Beat the egg white well.If you use 30 g of powdered sugar, the buttercream will be very sweet, so adjust the amount to your liking.
