Ingredients

  1. 1 tbspolive oil
  2. 8 ozItalian Turkey Sausage
  3. 1 cupTightly packed Arugula
  4. 4 ozcream cheese
  5. 1/3 cupGrated Parmesan
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1/4 tspFreshly Ground Black Pepper
  8. 1 packagesStore Bought Pizza Dough
  9. 1 1/2 cupMarinara Sauce

    Heat the oil on medium-high heat in a medium sized skillet. Add the sausage and cook until crumbled and golden, about 5 minutes. Add arugula and cook until wilted. Turn off heat and let cool for about ten minutes.

    Next, add the cream cheese, parmesan, salt, and pepper and stir together. Then set aside

  3. 3

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

  4. 4

    Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a thin 20 by 12 inch rectangle. Next cut the rectangle in half lengthwise and cut each rectangle in half until you have 8 equal rectangles.

    Next, with a pastry brush, egg wash the edges of the dough. Fold the dough over the filling and close with a fork.

  6. 6

    Top the pockets with the remaining parmesan and bake in the oven until golden, about 15-17 minutes.
