Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1 can(20 oz) crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
  • 1 can(21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • 1 packagesyellow cake mix
  • 1 can(3 oz) chopped pecans (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup(1 stick) butter or margarine, chilled

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Grease 9x13 inch baking pan.

  3. 3

    Spread pineapple with its syrup evenly in the prepared pan.

  4. 4

    Spoon the pie filling evenly over the pineapple.

  5. 5

    Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruits, then sprinkle the chopped nuts over all.

  6. 6

    Slice butter into thin slices then put the pieces evenly over the top.

  7. 7

    Bake for 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
