  • 1/2 cupbutter
  • 1 cupself-rising flour
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 1 tspvanilla extract
  • 4 cupsliced, peeled peaches

    Preheat oven to 350.

  2. 2

    To peel peaches, drop them into boiling water for 1 min. Remove and plunge into a bowl of ice water. The skins will loosen and can be removed easily.

  3. 3

    Melt butter into a 2 qt. baking dish. Combine flour, sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over butter. Do not stir. Spoon peaches over batter. Do not stir. Bake about 40 min.
