Trim fat from pork and cut into 1/2 inch cubes. season with salt and pepper

prepare batter : mix dry ingredients. in separate bowl combine wet ingredients. add to dry

dip pork cubes into batter and deep fry in hot oil 3 -5 minutes til brown

drain on paper towel

prepare sauce: combine ketchup, sugar, Water, salt, soy sauce. bring to boil

add vinegar and bring to a boil again

make a paste of cornstarch and water

add gradually to other sauce ingredients, stirring to avoid lumps

bring to boil again

pour over pork. garnish with peppers and pineapple
