Ingredients

8 servings
  • 3 lbConcord Gapes
  • 1 1/2 cupWater
  • 7 cupWhite Sugar
  • 6 ozLiquid pectin
  • 8Jars and lids

Steps

  1. 1

    Take the grapes and remove all stems

  2. 2

    Put grapes in a strainer and wash till they are clean

  3. 3

    Mash grapes up in a pot with hands until you are satisfied

  4. 4

    Add the cup and half if water then bring to a boil on high heat once they are boiling turn the heat till low and summer for ten minutes

  5. 5

    Remove the grapes from the stove and strain them into a bowl

  6. 6

    The next day strain the juice again through a doubles later cheese cloth

  7. 7

    Take four cups of That juice and put it in a Pot stir in the 7 cups if sugar

  8. 8

    Bring that to a boil then add the liquid pectin And let it boil for 1 min then remove from the heat and scoop off any foam

  9. 9

    Sterilize the jars in boiling water for 5 minutes With a funnel pour the mixture into the jars and seal tight after they are seals put them back into the boils water for a additional five mint yes
