Combine strawberries & sugar in medium sauce pan. Let sit for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook strawberries in a medium heat until they come to a boil.

Whisk flour, baking soda, & salt together . Work in the butter with your hand until the butter is worked in.

Add milk and mix until it becomes like a thick paste.

Pour onto strawberries & stir once or twice.
Reduce heat to low, cover & cook for 15 minutes.
