Ingredients

12 servings
  • For Brownies
  • 19 1/2 packagesBrownie mix
  • 1Egg
  • 1Vegetable oil
  • 1Water (or whatever the package calls for)
  • For Middle layer
  • 2 cupConfectionery sugar
  • 1/2 cupbutter, softened
  • 1Creamy peanut butter (8oz.)
  • For Top layer
  • 1 packagesSemi-sweet chocolate chips (6oz)
  • 6 tbspButter, softened

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare and bake brownie mix in a greased 9x13" baking pan according to package directions. Let cool.

  2. 2

    Mix powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and peanut butter. Mix well and spread over cooled brownies. Chill for one hour.

  3. 3

    Melt together chocolate chips and remaining butter in a sauce pan over low heat, stirring occassionally until melted.

  4. 4

    Spread over cooled brownies.

  5. 5

    Let cool; cut into squares.
