Ingredients

  1. 1 lbGround beef
  2. 1Onion, fried
  3. 1Zucchini, shredded
  4. 1 bunchParsley, chopped
  5. 2 tbspBaharat spice mix
  6. 1 pinchCumin
  7. 1Egg
  8. 2 tbspBreadcrumbs
  9. 1/2Butternut squash
  10. 4Carrots
  11. 1 tbspTomato paste
  12. 1 bunchMint leaves
  13. 1Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix beef, onion, zucchini, parsley, baharat, cumin, and salt and pepper

  2. 2

    Add egg, breadcrumbs. Mix.

  3. 3

    In the same pot as the onions, sear the butternut squash and carrots

  4. 4

    Add to the pot one heaping spoon of baharat, tomato paste, and salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Fill the pot 1/2 full with boiling water. Add the meatballs. Add mint. Cook until ready.
