Tahiri is a kind of biryani,it's a one pot meal.Tahiri dish belongs to Awadhi cuisine. The dish made up off vegetables, rice and mild spices used in making Tahiri. The dum technic is differ it from vegetable pulao.

Wash and soak the rice

Cut all the vegetables

Blanch cauliflower

Chop onion and tomatoes

Chop mint and coriander leaves

In a handi take 2 TBS oil n1 table spoon ghee

Add whole garam masala.Now add chopped onion let it cook till light golden brown

Add ginger garlic paste

Add chopped tomatoes, slit green chillies

Let the tomatoes tender

Add all the vdgetables and sprouted moong

Add turmeric, coriander powder, mint and coriander leaves, salt and mix well

Add 2 cups of water.

Let it boil

Once the water is boiling add soaked rice

Cookon high flame

If the water dries, simmer the gas sprinkle kewra water and let it cook on dum mode for 5-7 mins.

Serve hot with raita
