So this is the grandmama version. Pay no attention to the picture. This is a leftover pic bc I forgot to take a picture freshy fresh.... Tip: if you're not one of 20 ppl in America to have minute rice then use 1 & 1/2 cups rice with two cups of water and cook halfway (about 5 minutes) then add that to the casserole. If you use this method cut the 2 cups water to be mixed in the casserole into 1 cup water

Preheat oven to 400

Dice chicken into 1/2 inch cubes

Break out the casserole dish
- 4
Put all ingredients into dish,except butter, and mix well.

Cut little slivers of the butter or "pats" and arrange all over top of mixture.

Add pepper to liking. Be easy on salt, probably won't need much.

Cook for 1 hour or until rice and chicken are done.

Defend your creation with a stick.
